Hyundai connects its range to Bluelink Connected Car Services technology

Hyundai has announced that it will offer Bluelink Connected Car Services in all its models. An initiative that will begin with the Ioniq this year, and that will continue progressively throughout its range over the next two years.

The Bluelink Connected Car Services, already available for the new integrated AVN system, with a 10.25 ”split touch screen, use telematics to transfer data in real time, such as information about weather, traffic and even about stations service and charging points, as well as live parking updates.

This technology allows the driver to always be connected to their vehicles in a simple way thanks to a modem integrated in the car and a SIM card, as well as through an app that connects to a mobile network without using the smartphone's data rate. Among other services, this device includes cloud-based voice recognition and SMS dictation in six languages.

The application's features allow customers to check the status of their vehicle and offer a control mode to facilitate car tracking and send remote commands at any time and from anywhere. In this way, through Bluelink, you can control the vehicle remotely with features such as locking and unlocking the doors, receiving an automatic notification on your phone if you forget to close the car or access the Find My Car vehicle locator function .

At the end of 2019, Find My Car will also integrate horn and light activation. In the case of Hyundai electric models, Bluelink offers additional services such as turning on the air conditioning remotely or managing the charge and condition of the batteries, among others.
