In 2004, the Korean manufacturer Hyundai launched the first generation of the Tucson. In those years it was called as a small SUV, although it would not take long to become part of the famous SUV family.

Fifteen years later, Hyundai has in this model one of the great pillars of its range, being one of its best known models in the current market. As if this were not enough, the Hyundai Tucson has a very important market share for Hyundai.

This new generation has improved in all its aspects, with modern and attractive lines, and a wide and complete equipment in all its version, having optional in all sections. In the same way, it also has a wide variety of engines, in order to meet the current needs of the market and thus, be able to fight from you to you with the most important manufacturers that inhabit its segment.

We have tested the diesel engine of two liters and 185 hp of power coupled to an automatic gearbox of torque converter with eight ratios. This version has the HTRAC traction, a traction system developed by Hyundai, which has a central differential that intelligently distributes the power between the two axes, depending on the needs of each moment.

In addition, this tested version incorporates a 48-volt battery, which provides the manufacturer to name the whole as Micro hybridization. This battery helps the starter motor in addition to working in different circumstances such as in urban circulations helping the multiple stops and starts of the engine. Thanks to this addition, Hyundai got the ECO label for this propellant.
